How $$$ would you spend.
I was invited to a baby shower for the daughter of someone I work with and I am not sure how much to spend on a gift.
I do not know the daughter at all and am not that close with her mother ( I work part-time in the office). I am going b/c everyone in our office was invited.
Any opinions would be great.

Honestly? Here's my opinion...it's absolutely, ridiculously absurd that you were invited. That's my opinion. I'd decline the invite and send a 20 dollar gift. But that's just me. I mean, come on, you don't even know the girl To me, that's someone fishing for gifts.

I would decline and send suggest getting a group gift where the office women chip in $20 each.
If that's not an option, I'd say $20-30 is more than enough.

I would send a $25 GC to BRU since I didn't know her. I wouldn't watch to pick something out for someone I had never met, nor would I want to go to their shower.

I would just go to kohl's and buy 2 alphets. I won't cost you more than $20 and you will have a great gift.

I agree...you can go to the clearance racks and buy 12 month outfits and spend even less, but the gift will still be nice and she will appreciate it, since most people get all small sizes.
