I'm out! And questions

Ugh so AF showed this am---about an hour after I tested:(

I can handle the fact that it's not our month--we weren't "supposed" to be trying again until next mth anyway for due date reasons. But I'm REALLY upset that my LP was only 9 days this month! And I started with brown CM 2 days ago--so does that mean my uterine lining was breaking down even earlier?

And those with a LPD--when do you start taking something for it? I have a dr's appt on NYE-which should be around the time I'll O. Is there something the doc can give me at that point so that LP doesn't end so early. TIA!

ETA: I've been taking B6 for the last 2 cycles.

I have been having a 9 day LP for the past couple of months. I don't spot beforehand though. I started taking Prometrium (prescription) last month. Instead of having a 9 day LP I had a 12 day LP. So for me it helped. No BFP though. Depending on when you ovulate, I have been "O" on CD15-CD16 so I took it every night from CD16-CD28. AF came the night before I was finished taking it, but at least my LP was longer. I also was taking B6, 200mg of it for a few months and it didn't help at all. It did years ago, but not anymore. Definitely ask your doctor. I brought it up to her at my last appt. and she said I'll give you the prescription and if you continue to have a 9 day LP then go ahead and take it. She didn't really want me to take it, but it's either extremely rare or you won't get PG with a 9 day LP so what do you do? We are currently BD'ing, I should "O" tomorrow and will start taking the Prometrium again and hopefully I'll have good news on Xmas!

So did the doc do progesterone testing 7 days after O or just figured it was a progesterone problem? I'm just curious b/c i'm reading that LPD's can also be a FSH issue.

Years ago I saw a holistic nutritionist and filled out an 80 page (felt like it) questionnaire. At that time, I had bad PMS and this woman told me that she thought I had low progesterone and gave me a cream. I thought it was a crock and was nervous to use the cream, but now I'm thinking that maybe she wasn't off base. I guess I'll see what the doc says at the end of this month.
