Question for fellow charters.....

Just wondering what everyone else does, if you BD and it is after midnight, do you mark it for the next day on your chart?? DH works nights so a lot of times we BD at like 2am when he gets home

TIA

Re: Question for fellow charters.....

I count it as the day that I woke up on. So, for example say I BD tonight at 2am- I would consider that the 10th (today) Chat Icon hope that helps!

Re: Question for fellow charters.....

I chart it as PPs mentioned, based on "the day I woke up", but I'm guessing that either way is probably fine as long as you're consistent throughout the month?

Also, I found this FAQ on the FF website:

How do I record intercourse that takes place in the night?

There are a few options for recording intercourse data. You can use any one of them, as long as you are consistent.

* You can go by a 24 hour clock and record any intercourse that occurs before midnight for the previous day and any later intercourse for the following day.

* You can record any intercourse that occurs once you are in bed for the night for the following day. This method is the most natural since you don't have to go back to the previous day's data when entering information in the morning. It is often more accurate as well since the intercourse data entry is more relevant to the following morning's temperature than the previous one.

* You can use the AM/PM options on the data entry page to indicate when intercourse took place.

Re: Question for fellow charters.....

We only get to BD late at night after 12-2am but I've been marking it as we BD on the same day as it is since I haven't been to bed yet. Anything after bed I consider the next day. I want to do it earlier but it's hard to get my DH to be before then! Chat Icon

I didn't know that BD can affect your temperature? Chat Icon
