Hey All! I'm new and have a question

Some background on me :) I have a 3 1/2 yr old boy and my DH and I have been TTC for our 2nd for the last year and a half. I've been on and off clomid, but this has been my first month back on.

My dr told me if I miss my period, wait 2 weeks before I test. Well, I'm 3 days late, I tested and it was negative. But my period is nowhere in site. I don't wanna get my hopes up. I did test on day 2 and it was negative, could I have gotten a false neg? Those tests say you can test up to 5 days before? How accurate are they?

I know this sounds weird since I already have a baby, but that was a total surprise and feels so long ago that I feel like I'm doing this again for the 1st time! Any feed back would be appreciated!

Welcome!!
From what I have read on this board - you are not out until you get AF. You possibly tested too early - those tests that read 5 days early have a very low accuracy rate the earlier you test (I think it is only in the 50-60% range)
Good Luck to you Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
