So I know that the guy who has corona worked in an office building across the street from the Starbucks, so I have not been there since I found that out, and it’s only been ten days. In four more days I will go back there.
We’ve been getting grocery delivery. I did give my open box of nitrile gloves to a doctor friend for the hospital near me.

I still go if I have to leave the house. They don't touch my phone to scan my app for payment. Last time they handed me my drink wearing gloves. I doubt anyone is sitting there coughing all over the cups or wiping their nose and then handing you a drink. These days, I think if a manager saw an employee sniffling at all, they'd send the employee home. Honestly, I think it's fine. Obviously you're going to get the ppl here that scream that it isn't safe lol. If getting Starbucks is wrong, I don't want to be right.

I had to go to Target earlier to pick up a couple of things and I was pleasantly surprised to see that Starbucks was open. I carry Clorox wipes with me (for the shopping cart) and I wiped my Starbucks cup. Used my hand sanitizer, too!
I have to say when I was at Target so many people were oblivious to the "6 foot rule." Some were literally a foot away from me at times. I couldn't get out of there fast enough!

Your wingspan is the same as your height. So if you are 5'6" tall, then if you put your arms out it is the same. So if you are to reach out to another person and they do the same, if you probably leave 6 inch gap in there between you should be fine.

The Starbucks drive thru in Mineola is my new favorite place. It is all I have going for my sanity at this point.

I go to Dunkin almost every day for my coffee. I order it ahead of time and go in to just pick it up.

Not going and neither is my DH. He used to get Starbucks every day but the ones by his job closed down completely, so he doesn’t really have a choice.

Well, I don’t go to Starbucks anyway, but I stopped my daily travels for things like that. It is very strict here now and gatherings of more than 2 people are not allowed if not essential. This is included in your home. Family that live together obviously don’t apply to that rule. They will be checking soon if you are walking on the street in groups if you live together or not (everyone gets an official paper stating your registration anyway).
I’m pretty sure Starbucks is closed. They said cafes are closed. It isn’t considered essential.
TBH, just stay home.

Same exact thing happening in Argentina right now (i have family there).
It's been hard for me to decide what is worth going out for and what isn't. So I just decided that I'm staying put so if something were to happen to us, I don't think back on what could I have done differently to help this situation.

I guess if someone hears you having a party, they will call the police. That happens anyway if you make noise during a certain time of day (10pm-6 am and 12pm-2 or 3 PM).
This just started today, so I am also curious how this will go. They have been checking people on the streets, but I think that will increase soon.

Hmm interesting. South America is doing the right thing by stopping it early then.

Yes to Starbucks every now and then. Only locations with drive thrus are open (and can only do a DT order, no going inside).

i've never liked starbucks and DD is too far from me  (there aren't many out here).
i just have my coffee at the office... it's free and i'm the one who orders the pods (so i always know i'll have what i like).
SO LOVES his starbucks. he does the drive through... but he has cut back how frequently he goes.

Yes I went once the first weekend (Mar 14/15) and the guy was wearing gloves. I asked him if he changed them with every order and he looked at me like I had 10 heads.
So the gloves are pointless and I didn’t go back
