A friend of mine was away when the "terrorist plot" was uncovered. On their return back to London, they were required to check their carry-ons with the rest of their luggage. Her phone and camera were both stolen and she said that she knows of 4 others that this has happened to

This is such a horrible after effect of all of this cr@p that is going on. A friend of mine is a flight attendant & she said that theft claims are way up

My parents flew back to NY today from Manchester and thank goodness they have removed the no carry on rule from Manc, however its a shame. Their flight is running around 90 minutes late into NY, but its not so bad.
But, a friend of mine died in 7/7, so I am sure it beats another terrorist attack...

It's just international (to the UK). I flew last week...and I had my ipod and my cell phone in my purse, which I carried on the plane. I did, however, check my laptop (against my better judgement) with my luggage, just so I didn't have any problems...luckily..everything was fine and there was no damage, and it didn't get stolen/broken.
I am flying again on Sunday...and I'm undecdied on what to do with my laptop this time...

this all really stinx
I had to check in my purse in brussels, and they gave me a plastic bag to hold my wallet passport and ticket... my purse arrived, but i'm still waiting for my luggage...i arrived on the 14th...but my luggage has not yet ....this really stinx!
