I am proof that miracles can happen
Many of you have followed my journey. It’s been a LONG one...
- 6 years
- 9 IVF treatments.- no not a typo - 9!!
- 4 fertility doctors- practices
- 2 major surgeries and countless “ procedures”
- countless injections, bloodwork, supplements, ultrasounds
- lots of research, questions,
Lots and lots and lots of tears.
One thing I never really lost was hope. I never truly gave up. I took breaks to regroup but always had the mentality of one more cycle.
And now I can finally say, I am a mom. My journey was a rough one down to the end. My pregnancy went well down to the 35th weeks.
My peanut came a month early due to high blood pressure- early sign of preclampsia. A month early to the day. ( born 11/6 due 12/6) She was born tiny but strong.
I’m sharing this-not to make you upset or frustrated or sad. I’ve been where many of you are. For 6 long grueling years. I’m sharing this because it can happen!!!!! I am proof. Never give up, be persistent, ask the questions, do the research, & ifyou’re not happy, find another doctor. I only wish I made moves in the beginning when I first started this journey. Stayed w the first dr way too long.
People ask me, how did you do it for so long? How did you not give up? I honestly don’t know. Looking back, I don’t know. Took mental breaks, self-care....the one more try mentality.
I wish you all the best in your journey. This truly is the most grueling process ever with no guarantees. No one gets it unless they have been actually been through it. Be kind to yourself, and remember to take care of yourself- physically and mentally.

And I would also like to add preeclampsia sucks and I wouldnt wish it even on my worst enemy

Just starting out here. Congratulations!!!
We are on our second failed IUI and moving in to IVF if it was costing us over 20k and that’s with insurance.
My husband is against spending it ??
How did you do 9? $$$
Just wondering if there’s a secret out there I don’t know about.
