Color Street Nails!

Color street nails

I just tried these for the first time on thanksgiving and I am hooked!
They are pretty much “stick on nail polish” that lasts 2 weeks like gel polish. Without wrecking your nails!! No dryingtime. One package gives you 2 manicures.

Check out the link to learn about them. I already bought 4 packs Chat Icon

I am not selling them. Just tried it and really liked the product - thought I’d share!
May be a cute idea for stocking stuffers as well

Right!? I can't believe I never heard of these before. I mean, especially for those who get gel every 2 weeks and spend $30+ on it. This is so much more affordable and your nails are healthier and happier.

I don't get my nails done often. Maybe once a month. So for me, the $ is about the same. But way easier and so fast.

Ultra carries Incoco - it is the same as Color Street (same company, same product, same quality, but less money) without having to deal with any MLM pitches. Chat Icon

Re: Color Street Nails!

I had tried these once from Avon. A friend was selling Avon and gave me some free samples. this was about 10 years ago.
I had a hard time applying them to be honest. Maybe I just needed more practice

Ooh I didn’t know there were other ones. I’ll check those out too.

I’m all about simple stuff. As much as I enjoy getting my nails done, sometimes it’s hard to find the time. Then I polish them myself and it looks like a toddler did them.

Sally Hansen makes a similar product too! I have used the Sally Hansen ones when I know I’m going to be really rough with my hands and I’m happy with how well they hold up.

Polishing your own nails takes practice - and a good clean-up brush. Chat Icon

I honestly think the powder is worse than the regular gel.
Ruined my nails for over a year after just ONE application

I would never get these on my nails straight. Ever. It would look like a child did them.

That was the problem I had with the Avon ones.

Believe me, i thought the same thing but they kinda stretch a bit to straighten them out. I can't explain it. I put the sample ones on my nails in a dimly lit living room and they went on perfectly.

Now that I know there are so many brands out there, I have a feeling I'll have an entire tub of these things next to my massive stash of nail polishes. (Mind you, my nails are mostly never polished other than with a sheer pink if I am doing them myself because you can't see the disaster I made of them w that light of a color)

Agree! I switched to powder when they told me it was better and boy did it destroy my nails!! Finally my nails aren’t paper thin! I will never do gel or powder again lol
Ever!

I do sell them. Just started. I have a real regular teaching job too so this is just something for fun because I love them so much. If anyone does want samples, no pressure at all. But you could message me and I’ll mail them to you.

How do you apply them and take them off? Would they work for little girls too?

Nevermind. I see the videos on how to apply.

Do they really last 2 weeks? If so, that would be fantastic!

Not really....I've been using them for about a year and like them a lot. I think they are in between a regular mani and gel, as far as lasting time. It won't chip like regular polish, but you will have to keep filing the top down because the tips wear out first. My friend sells them and I buy from her often. The glitters definitely last longer than the solids.

I think they last between one and a half to two weeks depending on your nails. Glitters definitely last longer.

Yes, I just trim the sides and use for my daughter. To take off, I soak each finger in nail polish remover, then use cotton ball.

Re: Color Street Nails!

They can last two weeks if you put on a top coat and make sure that you polish the free edge of your nail with the top coat. Reapply the top coat every few days.

At two weeks though, you’ll probably have some nail growth so the bottom of your nails will start making them look done.

They’re cute and all, but for the price and the fact that you do need to allow 2-3 hours for the strips to properly “cure” on your nail, you may as well buy good-quality polish/base/top coats.
