High back booster question
My dd is 5.5 years, just over 40 lbs. In our car, she’s in a 5-pt harness, no plans of changing soon. In sept, my mother will be taking her to ballet only if I’m running late from work, 3 blocks from the house. I don’t know if I should get a high-back booster that uses the car’s shoulder seat belt (advantage: my mother will be able to buckle her in easier and I think it will actually be a tighter fit than a 5-pt harness;my mother may have trouble tightening) or stick to a 5-pt harness which is technically safer (but is it if grandma can’t pull tight?). Thoughts?

Re: High back booster question
I don’t think it will make any difference. I have my kids in harness too but at this point, I think they’d be fine on high back boosters.

Re: High back booster question
For your mom, get the high back. Its so much easier and she will be fine in it

Re: High back booster question
If your mom can't properly tighten the harness, then the seatbelt will be safer.
