Even a high heeled dressy strappy sandal would look great- weather permitting

I don't think ankle strap shoes look good with pants. Cuts your leg off.
I personally would wear a color shoe with all black and white.

I would understand if you said dress or skirt. But how could an ankle strap cut my leg off if you cannot see the strap with the pants? The pants rest on top of my foot passed my ankles.

I was going to say the same thing.
If anything an ankle strap will cut your leg off in a dress or skirt.
Pants will cover the strap completely so you don't even see it.
Maybe in a capri pant, yes.

OK so i just had to come back to this thread because 2 girls in my office today are wearing almost the exact same thing - shorter pants- like ankle length I guess, and ankle strap pumps.
I immediately thought of this thread!
And you are right- it does cut the leg off.
One is taller with long legs so it doens't look as bad. But on the shorter one, yep I see what you meant for sure!
