Any reviews? Tips? Stay on property or elsewhere? Thanks!

Has anyone been to Lego land in Florida?
I went for the day since my parents live close. The hotel looks cute. We went when ds was 4.5 and he went on everything but I think one or two rides. It’s not Disney and if you realize that going in you won’t be disappointed. We went in May and zero lines. We went right up and got on. We spent a full day. We did not do the water park.

This is true. We joked its where people who can't get hired at Disney go. Definitely a step down but if you are mentally prepared for that and your kids love Legos, it is a great place. We stayed in the hotel and loved it (but be prepared for sensory overload.... it is def. for a lego loving kid, not the parents).

Re: Has anyone been to Lego land in Florida?
Yes! We went last year during the last week in May for 3 days. My sons were 4(turing 5 that week) & just 7 & they had a great time. My younger son thought that the hotel WAS the vacation. We had to tell him that no, there is also an amusement park We were supposed to check out & go straight to disney for a week & they begged for an extra day at LL but my kids love legos. The food at the park sucked but we had a car & drove to eat dinner. Breakfast at the hotel was fine tbough.
A tip is to bring a lightweight stroller if your child is young. We did for our 4 year old & we were so glad because it was hilly.

We went the end of August with our 3 and 6 year old boys. We had an awesome day there! (Just did a day trip from Disney) lines were so short, rides were great for younger kids, my boys had fun in the indoor building area too...we didn’t stay at the hotel but want to next time- heard it’s realky cute. We really had a great time at the park though!

we have gone twice - the first year my boys were 4 and 6 and the second time they were 5 and 7. the 5 year olds are small and could go on everything, they had tons of fun at both parks. first time we did one day and that was enough the water park was not open but we did 2 days when the water park was open. They loved the hotel most. they love the entertainment at night. they like playing the games. we like that we can have a drink and watch while kids are entertained. We will probably go back again this year

Re: Has anyone been to Lego land in Florida?
We went in December and I wish we started there first, instead of going to Disney and then going to LL in the middle of the trip bc while it’s very cute it’s certainly not disney or even Hershey ((which we go to very often)). My DS did love it though but he is a lego addict lol, and I do think when my little guy is 5, we will go again. Next time I’d stay at the hotel just to make it more fun for my boys since my girls get so much princess stuff at Disney that it’s nice to have a “boys” day.
Ohh and the LEGO show on the water I thought was super cute and we all loved it, so I’d recommend that for sure!
ETA: make sure you sign up for the LEGO magazine they have buy one adult get one child free coupons often that I wish I took advantage of!

Re: Has anyone been to Lego land in Florida?
We were just there for two nights over Feb break before our Disney trip. The hotel was great! I would definitely recommend it. They have lots of cute stuff for the kiddos. Our girls (4 and 6) loved it. The park is cute. I would say it’s comparable to Dutch Wonderland if you have been there. It’s small and not very crowded. We had a good time but as another poster mentioned the food is pretty poor.
My opinion would be that it’s worth it if you stay at the resort but probably not worth going out of your way for it for just the park. Disney and Universal are much better parks. We had fun though nd the girls just couldn’t get enough of the resort. The water park wasn’t open when we went. They are opening one in New York in 2020 if your kids are young enough and you don’t wind up going now.
