How to get rid of burnt plastic smell in oven
A few months ago I accidentally melted plastic in the oven (didn't realize a plastic cover was on the bottom of a tin foil pan) . I scraped off the melted plastic off the rack and off bottom of the oven once it cooled, but now every time I use my oven I have the burnt plastic smell coming out and it smells awful. I tried cleaning it with lemon Lysol spray, and then baking soda and water but the smell is still there every time I use it. Any other ideas? I feel like I can't use my oven anymore ugh!

I would warm the oven, heat some vinegar in a pan - smells awful - put that in the empty oven. Let sit until everything cools. Wipe down the oven with warm water, then try warming it to see if the smell is still there.

Another idea would be to use activated charcoal on a baking tray. Warm the oven to 250, put the tray in for an hour, then turn off the oven and let cool
