Real estate attorney fees?
If anyone has sold a house, could you tell me an estimate of how much you had to pay in attorney fees? Just wondering if the quote we got is typical. Thanks!

This is the average, in my experience. I've heard as low as $800 and as high as $2000K plus.
But most of the attorneys I refer are in the $1200-$1400 range for real estate transactions (buying or selling).

I work for a real estate attorney and she charges $1300. I would never pay more than $1500 or less than $1000. I would also only use an attorney who specializes in Real Estate....we can always tell when We are dealing with an attorney who doesn't do real estate often...it complicates things!

I pay 975 and have used my attorney at least 6x between selling and buying few properties.
