Need guidance, support, any and all help
Hi all, this is my first time posting on here and I'm new to LiFamilies. I'm in need of any advice and any help that can be offered. I am currently living with a very loving couple who have been gracious enough to house both me and my 10 year old pug for 8 months now. They have gone above and beyond in trying to help me move forward in my life. I recently started back to work and just am truly doing my best to pay back debt but also put away money to eventually find an apartment for myself. It isn't easy to say the least and I feel like I'm in constant debt paying people back who have given to me in my time of need. I'm beginning to feel the burden I put on this couple and in round about ways it has been discussed that I should move on. I am in such fear of where do I go and who can I call for help. I am begging for any guidance and support that can be given to me because I can't do this alone. Mentally this is taking a toll on me and draining me physically. Thank you to all who took the time to read this and any help that can be given, I will be forever grateful.

Re: Need guidance, support, any and all help
I'm always a big proponent of communication. Right now, you're assuming that they want you to move on. It's possible that they do, but it's also possible that they either would like to see one or two changes, or they seem that way because of something unrelated in their lives. Instead of trying to leave what seems like a good situation, try having a sit-down with them and talk about how much you appreciate everything they are doing for you, and ask what you can do to make things work better for all of you.
It may not be money that they would like. I know that for me, personally, time is more valuable than money (within reason... ), and I would love it if I had someone to help out with things around the house. Even offering to make them dinner once in a while would be nice.
And if they do want you to move out, talk with them about a time frame, so you know what you have to work with.
Making major life decisions without all of the information is never a good idea.

Thank you so much for replying. We all do have our share and roles of what we do in the household. I clean as well as groom their two dogs monthly. I just received a very god given gift of funds to get a small apartment. My bracket is very minimum and would not like to exceed $900 monthly. Any continued help and support will not go unnoticed

Your first post is very vague, so I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for.
I'd suggest working out a budget and schedule and figuring out exactly how long it will take to save enough money to get back on your feet. Then discuss it with the people you're staying with. If they have a specific date in mind when you plan to leave, it may relieve a lot of stress or pressure on both of you.

Maybe discuss with them that you have are looking for a place for that amount, so they know you aren't just planning on being there indefinitely. They will probably assist in the search.
