Taking newborn for walk?
My twins are 4 weeks old tomorrow do you think I can take them on a 20 min walk today? It's so nice out!

Yes and you can even take them out when it's a little colder just bundle them up! The fresh air is good for them!

I took my newborn out for a walk at 2 weeks old. She was born January 16, and it was maybe 30 degrees outside. It was necessary for my sanity.

Definitely! Just take it easy bc at 4 weeks post cs I was feeling great but if I overdid it I was in pain by the end of the day.

Absolutely. Those walks kept me sane on maternity leave and it is definitely warm enough outside!

I had 2 winter babies.... my peds said to get them out EVERY DAY unless it was really raining or snowing. He said that as long as they are bundled up, the cold air is fine and much better for their health and yours to get fresh air every day.

DD was a June baby so I pictured all these wonderful walks.
Then she was born.
And she screamed all. the. time.
I remember trying to take her for a walk in the snap and go and she screamed so badly that people would come out of their houses or look out their windows to see what was going on.
I got about half a block, turned around, went home and cried myself in my house.
My dad was over one day and was like- let me try, I'm sure it's not as bad as you say.
He was back in less than 5 minutes!
If anyone wonders why I am one and done.... well now you know.

I had my son out in the winter as soon as I felt up to it.
I had my daughter out, in spring, as soon as she came home from the hospital.

I can only speak via my mom, YES, even in the dead of winter is ok. She took me out when I was 5 weeks old, in the snow to buy my brother a winter coat and I'm still alive.
