Chateau La Mer
Has anyone had or been to a party there recently? It's been years since I have been. Looking into it for an upcoming retirement. How is the food, etc. since it was updated?

Just emailed them a couple of days ago to have a shower there. 100 people minimum for an afternoon really????? My minimum for my wedding on a SATURDAY NIGHT was 125!!

I haven't been there since the wedding of the year in 2011!
My niece had her prom there last year and said it was nice, but not sure how the food is now.

Maybe that is just for weddings? From what I recall they have a few rooms - some are smaller, so maybe if you don't want to use the big room downstairs you can have a lower minimum? I had my wedding there is 2009, but that was over 7 years ago, so I really can't comment on their quality now.

to be honest - I got married there almost 6 years ago. it was amazing...
BUT - since then i know they changed owners and i have heard terrible things. people are saying its just not the same as it used to be. I can't vouch personally, since i haven't been there since a wedding a year or so after mine, but just wanted to pass on what I was hearing.
