How long between coloring hair?

Seriously try changing your shampoo so that you don't fade out as quickly. You will probably have great results!

Ugh - I could go every 3-4 weeks but I try to stretch it to 8-10. Does anyone else worry about all the chemicals and harmful effects from repeated hair coloring?

I go every 6-8 weeks. Usually once I see all the grays pop out my appointment is within a week or two.

I get a nice ombre thing going on (I dye my hair light blonde, and it is naturally light brown/dirty blonde) when I don't dye it for awhile, so I usually do it every 3-4 months. I like the ombre for awhile, but then I start to just want one color again.

If I was actually keeping up with it and avoiding roots, I imagine I would have to do it every month or so.

Wow. I go months and months. I couldn't even Tell you the last time I went. September or October. I'm way overdue. I need it done just don't have the time
