Ugh Stomach virus
My dh just got hit. Dd and I got it in the beginning of the week. He is now quarantined for the next 48 hours in the guest room. Sucks he will miss our big Christmas Eve at my aunts and our pregnancy announcement to my family.

Dd and I both had it for 48 hours. Dd's stomach is just getting back to normal today regarding being hungry and stuff and she had it Mon and Tues. My aunt has over 40 people over so even if he starts to feel better we won't chance it by him coming and getting anyone infected.
He quarantined himself so dd and I don't get it again.

Ugh, it's the worst! We all had it 2.5 weeks ago and DD got it again the other night and DS got it again last night. For us it only lasted about 12 hours this time around. Awful! I hope it passes him quickly, and Congrats!!

It's terrible. My 2.5 year old as had it since Monday night. She is JUST finally starting to feel a little better this morning but still so out of it. So for her, it's been more than 4 days. She hadn't eat anything from dinner Monday night until this morning--she just had some oatmeal, thank God. DH and I have both been safe so far.  The only good thing about her being sick is we are saved from going to Westchester to DH's great-aunts house today for Christmas Eve (which I hate doing)

My kids all had it and I got it last night...it is horrible!! I can't move. Hoping I feel better so I can wrap presents!!

I got it in the middle of xmas eve dinner at my parents house. Had to leave right after the pasta and we had to cancel today's plans. Ugh what bad timing to get this stomach Virus.

How is it transmitted?
Are the germs transmitted through the air or via touching objects?

I don't believe it is airborne.
I think it spreads via touching things.

My DD started with it on Christmas Eve. We all stayed home on Christmas Day. Then me and DH both had it on Monday. Finally feeling normal this morning.

Probably because you are contagious before you show symptoms so to be honest, it's a losing battle.

Ugh Stomach virus
Here at the hospital I work at Infection Prevention and Employee Health put out a notice about it... its pretty bad. It's clusters of cases that have been reported and then they spread. Its most likely not airborne - however the first 24-48 hrs are the most crucial to cross contamination...
If anyone becomes ill handy hygiene, cleaning your home environment especially bathroom is crucial.
