Favorite/least favorite part of Halloween?
What is your favorite or least favorite part of Halloween?
I enjoy handing out candy, and watching DS hand out candy to the ToTers.

Favorite/least favorite part of Halloween?
I love it all! I don't dress up myself but I love dressing up my kids and seeing all of the kids so excited to be in their costumes! Such a fun day for the little ones!

I love it all! I'm that person who gets excited when the orange and black and purple decorations start rolling out in stores (you know, in August lol) and I'm like "oh October, I've been waiting for you!" (Just because I know this is a hot button topic on these boards - I do love summer but it is what it is, Fall is a part of life lol.and Halloween is the.perfect transition and kick off to the season for me)

Love handing out candy too
Hate the decorations- just not my thing. And dressing up myself- never do it

Dressing up my kids
Walking around the neighborhood with a bunch of friends for ToT and hanging for dinner afterward while kids go through their loot
Witches bike ride at school
Least favorite:
inevitably binging on so much candy that I make myself sick!
my kids seeing something scary on tv and being afraid at bedtime

Favorite/least favorite part of Halloween?
I really don't like Halloween at all. Last year I was flying overseas so it literally didn't exist for me (I lost the day during flight).
But since having my DS I do get excited for him to pick his costume and dress up.

Yeah I'm not really into the gory or horror decorations myself, I prefer the cutesy glittery kid-friendly stuff. I have a neighbor that goes balls to the wall with the horror stuff. He has this gigantic life-sized Jason that he puts inconspicuously hiding near some bushes on the side of his house only half visible from the street. And the thing moves it's head in your direction! I almost had heart failure first time I saw it. It's so life-like and heart-stopping. I actually thought it was some manic dressed as Jason hiding in his bushes.

Favorite/least favorite part of Halloween?
Hate: shopping and getting ready 4 kids in costumes
Especially when they have to wear them so many times if its intricate (esp with make up) like school parade, Halloween party, actual Halloween.
Walking around in the cold with your child bundled up covering up the 50.00 costume you just bought or the flip side is its 100 degrees out and your kids in a fleece lined costume dying.
Arguing over why they can't eat all the candy in one night
Wow I'm a Debbie downer lol

Favorite/least favorite part of Halloween?
Love watching DD pick out her costume and taking her TOT
Hate for the fact that I have to dress her in in multiple times for multiple events (school parade, dance, actual halloween, etc)

I get a fear over me. I can't explain it. Maybe too many horror films??? Especially when it is late.
But I do love seeing the little kids getting dressed. I hate when the teenagers make zero effort.

I enjoy it all!! My favorite is when we get a really cool, crisp Halloween because I LOVE walking around the neighborhood TOT'ing with the leaves blowing around and the chill in the air. It's so festive!

Me too.
I wont even get delivery food because I don't like answering the door. I'll get dressed and go pickup the pizza instead.
After 8PM, we don't answer the door at all. Sorry kid, if you're out after 8PM you are old enough to buy your own candy.

Love - eating all the candy I "bought for trick or treaters" while pretending I'm not home when they ring the bell
Hate - nothing. I have a belly full of candy and no contact with any human beings.

I love Halloween
I love to dress up, decorate my house, the cutest little ones coming here to TOT. Some of them are quite creative with their costumes (ages 9-12) the tiny ones are just adorable dragging their little candy filled bags around lol
Everyone is smiling. Neighbors are out. It's a good time all around

I love fall and Halloween! My favorite time of year.
So my favorite parts are decorating, making jack o'lanterns, watching my boys go TOT'ing in their costumes and how excited they get, giving out candy, eating the candy! I also love the weather, the leaves, etc.
