And it is no where to be found....so frustrating...

Yes, my Ray Bans for about 3 months. I KNEW they were around here someplace. Sure enough, getting ready to go to the St. Patrick's parade on Thursday, I put on my puffy vest which I had not worn since the fall and bam...they were in the pocket!

Yes! Car keys while I was double parked! Had to pay a lot to get a new key fast. I found they keys a few weeks later wedged under the couch .

Car keys to my company car not long after we moved in. That was 6 years ago. I keep saying when we move out of this house, they'll turn up somewhere crazy.

Yes, this happens to me all too often. I lost my DS's karate uniform in my house for over six months. After buying him a new one, it fell out of my linen closet. So frustrating!

yes, I lost a bottle of advil for weeks, then I stumbled across it in a makeup bag because I forgot I took it on my MA trip back in Nov. I loose things everyday
My grandma always told us to flip a glass and the lost item will be found, it works all the time...

I 100% believe in this. Years ago, I had lost my car keys and I was losing my mind. After a week or so, I prayed to St. Anthony because my mom insisted and what did I have to lose? That night, I had a dream they were under my countertop microwave. Totally a weird spot. But guess where the keys were? So now, he's my go to.

Yes, my DH just lost his car keys for 2 days. We found them in the bottom of the kitchen garbage  Neither one of us remembers throwing them out.

Yes we lost a set of keys. Had to get all new keys including one from Honda that cost us $275. It was so annoying. Almost a year later we found them while on vacation apparently we put them in our suitcase while we were traveling.
Eta I also lost an outfit I purchased for my dd. She tried it on and than I couldn't find it. I knew it was in my house. Took everything out of every drawer in her room,l and closet. 6 months later I found it in a shoe box in her room. She swears she didn't put it in there but she must have and forgotten about it.

I was missing a black pump for 9 months.
I came home from a business trip & my feet were killing me & I didn't want to even think about the shoes for a while.
Then I had a meting about 3 weeks later, so I was going to wear them & I couldn't find them. I swore I must have left it in the suitcase, so I wore something else to work, and DH got the suitcase down off the closet shelf for me & I checked & couldn't find. I had no idea where it was, so eventually I assumed I left it in the hotel closet.
( which I never do! I barely unpack & am I thorough checker, but the drunks next door to me kept me up all night,so I wasn't thinking straight the day I left.)
I didn't have too much of a need for my black pumps for a while, and then I started looking online for new ones, but couldn't decide. I then was rearranging the shoes in my closet & found that the missing pump had fallen off the shoe rack & was in the corner of the closet, with DH's pants blocking it ( it was underneath where they hang down.)
DH also lost his wedding ring a few years ago--I am convinced it is on the house--he only ever took it off at home, and the day he lost it we were home cleaning & preparing for guests & only left for about 10 minutes to walk to the dumpster to throw the trash out & buy wine in our neighborhood. He thinks he accidentally threw it out, but I am convinced we will find it when we move.

I lost my wedding ring. I have no idea where it can be. My main theory is that I accidentally vacuumed it up. There's no reason why it hasn't turned up at this point.

Yes!!
New gloves from J Crew - they arrived in the mail...tried them on...loved them..lost them.
Moisturizer - bought a new one last week and cannot find it now.
Bottle of perfume - I have been missing this for 4 years and it still puzzles me - DS was a toddler at the time so I feel like he must have stuffed it somewhere!!
For over a year I was missing one cole haan wedge...could not find it then last weekend I found it jammed at the back of my closet!

Just keep a glass flipped over with nothing in it? I store all mine in the cabinet upside down. I lose stuff all the time. Just wondering because I will try anything to find some of the things I've lost!

My DH lost his wedding ring in the house a few years ago. It was missing for about 6 weeks and he was so upset. We thought it was gone for good so we bought a replacement. Then he found it in the pocket of a pair of pants he swore he checked.

YES! My daughter has a "bunny" lovey - it vanished 2 1/2 weeks ago. She goes to full time daycare, and the bunny DOES NOT. It always stays home on weekdays.
DH took the kids to school - he said it never left the house.
We all (even the babysitter) looked in/under/around everything multiple times!

We lost my then-15mo's favorite stuffed kitty when we were renovating our home - it was around Christmas time so I made DH search all the holiday bins in the garage but we couldn't find it. We searched and searched for weeks, DS was sad but got over it and I think it broke my heart more than his because his older brother still had his favorite stuffed animal. We assumed it was accidentally tossed in the trash or was put with construction debris that was removed from the area.
Six months later, DH is cleaning out the garage (on Father's Day) and he finds Kitty shoved between some of the bins. So relieved!

Yes!! My husband also lost his cell phone for a couple of months. We bought a new phone of course, but could not figure out where the darn thing went...IN THE HOUSE??!!
Anyway, I cleaned his closet and it was in there, all the way in the back between the molding and the floor. The theory is he hung up a pair of pants he wore for a short time with the phone in the pocket and it landed just right that it tucked itself in there so when we searched, we missed it.
