I'm going to try to sleep in a bit but wanted to send an update first. She's doing fine. Nurse sounded really positive when talking about her, that the way she's been acting and reacting are great and better than he originally expected her to be at at this point. He said he's done this a long time and has seen a lot and he has a good feeling about her. Also they just lowered a setting on her vent to see how she tolerates it. It's actually the lowest that this setting goes (I think it keeps the lungs open), so good stuff. We still have a long ways to go but getting a bit more optimistic as time goes by. She had a very stable day, which is the best we could have hoped for.

Omg so scary. Thank god she's doing better. Many prayers being sent your way. My daughter was admitted to SB when she was 8 weeks and they were awesome. The Ronald McDonald room is great

So glad to read this. I've been thinking about her all day. Continued wishes for quick healing and I hope you and your family are able to get a little rest tonight.

I can't. I'm so sorry, what a scary day. I'm so glad you took her to the ER. Poor baby, poor mommy and daddy! I can't believe she is so sick! Sounds like you are ending the day on a positiv update and that's really good. Nurses honestly are the best when it comes to predicting and knowing things like that. I really don't know what else to say, just sending prayers and hugs!

She's having a bit of a rough morning. She has a fever that's climbing a bit. They're running some labs to see if she's developing an infection. They don't know when which virus began so she could just be at the peak of one of them which happens around day 5. They were able to stabilize her by adjusting some of her levels.
