This rumors been going on for a week or so, but will supposedly be revealed tomorrow.
Award winning actor HIV positive
It will be on the Today show tomorrow morning (if that's what the announcement truly is). We shall see.

If he knew and didn't tell, of course that's evil and wrong. But maybe him being revealed is going to save some poor people.
Yeah it's sad. But you play, you pay. I don't feel that bad. I feel badly for anyone who wasn't told.

That too. I'm so disgusted by the Hollywood bozos shitting money, ungrateful, constantly ******* up and crying woe is me on the cover of People. I feel badly for those with addiction and I get it. I do. But you know that feeling? Like the rest of us work our asses off, nothing comes easy, we try hard to be good people and grateful for the little we have .. We struggle with life issues and health issues. Can barely afford medications or copayments. And then you see people like that. It's discouraging and I feel heartless saying that but it's how I feel.

HIV and AIDS is nothing gossip about IMO
I hate that it's being made public like this. It's one thing for the person to have to come out to family and past partners - it's another to have it plastered on the cover of numerous tabloids.
When you have lost someone close to you from the disease, it really hits home. Whether it's Charlie sheen or the guy next door... It's a terrible disease that doesn't always get kept under control with meds. They work for some, but not for all.
PS
If it comes out he KNEW he had it and still had unprotected sex or Shared needles with someone, he's got a shit storm more problems on his back. Though in this day and age, if people STILL don't realize you gotta use a condom ... Smh

I think that's the crux of the issue.
If he has it, he has plenty of money and access to doctors to keep him well.
But if he knew and continued to live so recklessly and endanger other peoples lives, that's flucked up.

All I ever hear is how "oh my man hates using condoms, I hate using condoms"
Guess what? It's better than the alternative.
Unless you are KNOW for SURE you are both being faithful and are both STD free, condoms should be a must.
I really hope he was using them as he slept around with half of Hollywood.

Saw his interview with Matt Lauer this morning - first it was just with Charlie and then with him and his doctor. Not defending him or taking any side really, but what he said was that he never had sex without disclosing his status to someone. He also said that he has paid more than $10 million to people who know about his condition and have blackmailed him to keep it a secret. His Dr. said that he is HIV positive but with the medications the level of virus is now undetectable in his body. The Dr. did say that with protected sex it is extremely rare for someone in Charlie's position (undetectable level of virus) to pass the virus on to a partner.

It's also good that by law you have to be tested when you get pregnant and again towards the end of the pregnancy.

His ex Bree Olson is on Stern saying she had no idea - she is just finding this out. They used lambskin condoms which do not prevent the spread of disease. He claimed he was clean.
He also said it's virtually impossible since he almost always used condoms...
The stupid is strong with this one.
