Also keep in mind he has two children with his ex wife. So they're probably the ones really suffering. Addiction is truly a horrific disease.

In a news report a "hospital witness" stated they found cocaine in his system and track marks on his arm.
I feel so bad for this man.

I truly don't think Khloe would allow any of it to be taped or included in the show. She kept it a secret for a very long time and really limited what she shared on the show.
I think she genuinely loves him and wants him to be ok. She has said herself that if he would be able to battle his demons and stay clean and sober that she would still be with him.
Addiction is no joke - and my heart breaks for her because I know what it is like to see someone you love go through this.

Tragic former NBA star-turned-reality star Lamar Odom had “virtually every drug imaginable” in his system — and track marks on one arm — when he overdosed at the Las Vegas-area Love Ranch brothel, according to reports.
The ex-LA Lakers star remains unconscious and on a ventilator at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas after his five-day sex-and-drug binge at the brothel, according to E!, which is citing a source inside the hospital.
Doctors there believe he suffered an ischemic stroke, which is caused by a drug-induced blood clot blocking blood flow to the brain, according to E!
“So, likely there’s brain damage, but they’re not sure how much,” the source told the website.
“He was doing crack cocaine all weekend and he choked on his mucous,” the source added. “They’re now having to fix all the damage it has done.”

Yes.. People.com is saying:
"Khloé Kardashian keeps vigil by Lamar Odom's hospital bedside, she is still legally his wife, PEOPLE has learned.
Though Kardashian, 31, and Odom, 35, both signed divorce papers in July, a judgement has not yet been entered into court."
Such a sad situation.

I am far from a Kardashian fan, but I agree with this.
From everything Ive seen in the past she truly loves him and I actually feel sorrry for her to be in this situation.
Its being reported shes inconsolable.

I think yes. I was reading that they signed the divorce papers but bc the forms had not been processed yet they are still married...
Right. But I wonder if they were legally separated first or just went right for the divorce.
And if that makes a difference at all in a situation like this.

Its very sad. He was such a talent. Dh and I are big basketball fans and he was a great player and seemed to be well liked. I hope he pulls through and is given a second chance to turn his life around.

hospital tell us doctors are now saying Lamar has a 50/50 chance of surviving after enduring multiple medical problems ... the apparent result of complications from drug use.
Our sources say doctors are saying 4 of Lamar's organs, including his kidneys, are failing. As we reported, he's had a series of strokes in the hospital and has heart problems as well.
The doctors are saying with each failing organ the chances of survival go down significantly.
We're also told doctors are having trouble determining the extent of any brain damage because the organ issues make it difficult to test and get an accurate reading on brain function.

Supposedly he's been declared brain dead and is just being kept alive artificially. Multiple organs have failed, including his kidneys, and is on dialisis.
It's only a matter of time before they pull the plug, which is when Khloe says so.
So unbelievably tragic

I might be in the minority here, and I speak with experience,
Its worse to see someone you love suffer for the rest of their life then watch them pass peacefully.

I agree with that. It's about quality of life. It's selfish, imo, to keep someone physically here when mentally, emotionally, etc they're gone.
