I'm happy for him too, I used to make a joke about what he was going through but I didn't believe it until tonight. I was on the publicity stunt team, he's been through so much pain.

You know. He said it right. Who on earth would go through this for publicity. I mean, he plans to have genital surgery. Why would you do that unless it was real? No amount of money would make someone chop off his parts.
It is really well done. I am fascinating and learning a lot.

My heart hurts for him, thinking his whole existence was a lie. I loved the analogies he kept making about having a liberated soul. I don't know what his children must feel. I keep trying to think, what would I think if my father sat me down and told me he was a woman, deep inside? How would I handle it? Would I be accepting?
I won't judge any of them because of this. Kanye? Well....
I think the most important thing he talked about how gender and do sexual orientation were two separate issues. It really clarified the question for so many people I'm sure.

I haven't watch Keeping up with the Kardashians in years. But from what I remember of it, I don't think I've seen him as happy as he was tonight.
He really looks and sounds at peace with it all. And it seems he has a lot of support which is what everyone should have.

Lol. I was surprised at that also but it made sense.
I was surprised and sad for him when I learned he started to take hormones and transitioning in the 80s but stopped when he married kris. Overall I think it was a good interview but not sure it warranted 2 hrs. No comment from any of the kardashians no surprise there, how self absorbed are they?

I honestly can believe that they weren't asked. The media definitely skews things the way they want us to see it. It' gives people more to talk about if the kardashians are the unsupportive ones. I've gotten to where I believe very little of what I hear on the news...

He spoke openly about how Kim, believe it or not, was the most supportive and open of the older girls. She had actually caught him in the act years ago so maybe it wasn't as much as a shock to her. Honestly, I won't judge the kardashian clan this time this is real, overwhelming, and hard to deal with.

I watched a little over an hour and I thought it was really good. He really did seem so happy and so relieved to just be himself. To a PP, Kylie and Kendall gave a statement about their dad. Nothing from the other girls.

I was a little surprised Khloe is having the hardest time accepting it, then once it was explained in regards to all of her strong male influences in her life die or leave her, it made sense.

I went into watching it thinking there was some kardashian publicity thing going on then I started watching it thinking ok, he seems genuine. Then there was a commercial during the interview for a new Ryan Secrest Productions show on ABC family about being transgender. Now, I don't know what to think. I mean, Seacrest produces all the kardashian shows and specials and now Bruce is coming out as transgender the same time Ryan's show is set to premiere?

Kim did an interview with Matt Lauer from The Today Show. They showed some of it this morning. But it will be aired Monday.
So they probably couldn't comment because they have their own interviews in the works or pre-taped.

What surprised me the most was that all if his wives knew and didn't care. I don't think I could look the other way if my DH was wearing dresses and heels and act like my family was normal.
I really hope he finds happiness and peace. It was hard to watch at times. I hope acceptance surrounds him.

I was surprised to hear that basically everyone close to him-ex-wives, sister, mom, and pretty much his kids (at least the older ones) had known this for years! That must have been so tough for him. Seems like this is long overdue. Hope he will finally be happy now.

Hes so brave. How tragic to have to live your life being someone you know you werent meant to be. I cant imagine. We have a LONG way to go (as a society) in understanding the transgendered community, but if this helps ONE teen struggling with this, gives them courage or someone to identify with, then it was more than worth it for him to go public with it. Ive never looked up to anyone in the "kardashian" family for a single thing, but this was amazing.
I loved when he said about the show, that the whole time they were filming he had the real, one true story.
