I need an opinion for a child's birthday party
Do you think 10 am is too early for a birthday party? I have to add that it would be at an ice cream shoppe and that's what has me concerned about a morning birthday. But they have games and activities first so the pizza and ice cream wouldn't really be served until 11am. Be honest- do you think 10 is too early?

I think its too early, for me anything before 12 is too early. Last year my dd was invited to a party at California pizza kitchen at 9:30 on a sat and we didn't go just BC I felt it was crazy to have a party that early, especially a pizza party.

We did a 1030 am party it was great everyone thanked me for making them nice and tired for nap time ;)

I would prefer an early party. That way there is still the whole afternoon for people to spend with their families. But this is coming from someone who's entire house is awake by 6:30 AM.

I agree that I appreciate it leaves the day open for family time, which I love!!!
To get kids ready to leave the house by 9:30 really shouldn't be hard! My kids (who go to sleep at 9:30pm) never get up later than 9am.

I try for 11 but I did do 10 once. Everyone came. Imo it's a little odd if a family with young ones isn't up and at em by like 830 or 9. I mean, my kids stay up later and sleep later than any preschoolers I know and they're still up by 830 the latest on the weekend.

Last year hosted a birthday party at my house at 930. Everyone invited showed up ! Also, all the moms thought it was great- because it's something to do early and didn't consume the day.

Considering we are all out the door by 7:15 during the week, 10am would be no problem for a party, I like that it leaves the rest of the day free.

I don't i had dd 4th birthday at California pizza kitchen and it started that early by the time they have pizza it was after 11 at daycare my youngest eats by 11:15 for lunch.

We're up between 630-7, so 10 am would
Be good for us.
We had DD's 1st bday at 10am and it was fine. Pizza was served at 11:15 followed by cake at 1140.

I prefer early parties and do most my parties around that time.
Like others have said, we are up early anyway and enjoy having the rest of our day free.

As a full time working mom on the weekends we like to wake up leisurely and then I'll often make a proper breakfast. We take our time, also give dd a bath and then I have to shower. So while we are all awake we aren't up and at em. I have the whole day for that and want to enjoy my time without having to rush.

I would love that- I prefer parties/get togethers that are either early (10/11am) or later (after 3) so my kids can nap in the middle of the day.
