If you are undecided about opting out or allowing your children to take the state tests....
I am begging you to take a few minutes and read this article. It explains everything so simply. Parents are truly the last hope for their child in NYS.

I shared on FB.
It's so infuriating what is happening to our teachers, kids, and educational system. It's so sad to say, after the thousands upon thousands of dollars I spent on my Masters (that I am still paying back!!), but I am SO glad to be out of the classroom. What is happening now in our schools is just horrible.
I hope that between the teachers, lawmakers that actually care, and concerned parents we can start to turn things around.............and soon!
