boy mamas, come in...

I had MS with both boy pregnancies, this time around I am carrying twin girls and I never had any morning sickness. 35 weeks 1 day and this has been the easiest of all 3 of my pregnancies, go figure.

Re: boy mamas, come in...

I got ms with both of my pregnancies. My first pregnancy I had a Chat Icon and the second one I had a Chat Icon!!!!! It was actually much worse the second time around and I had a boy!!!!!! Like most old wives tales this one is totally bogus.

I had morning, noon, and night sickness with my son Chat Icon

This for me too. I got sick about 10 times a day for seven full months for ds. I only had five episodes of morning sickness the entire pregnancy for dd.

boy mamas, come in...

This is interesting bc I'm convinced I'm having a boy bc my pregnancy is very different, so far, this time around.

ETA: With my DD, I had MS til around 14 weeks. I'm just about 13w right now and have only had brief waves of nausea.

I had the worst morning sickness with my son. I was sick all day, everyday from 5 weeks until around 21 weeks. I got sick at least 3-4 times a week all the way until around 33 weeks. After that, the sickness was occasional. I also threw up right before and right after I gave birth (literally right before I started pushing and then about 15 minutes after ds made his appearance).

No morning sickness with girl or boy, unless you count a very very slight occasional queasiness and some food aversions (mainly to protein).

I have 1 of each. Had severe nausea but never threw up with either - though I was sicker longer with DD.

Re: boy mamas, come in...

I don't think the gender of the baby has anything to do with whether or not you have morning sickness. I think it more has to do with just how your body responds to the hormones.

For me, I had horrible morning sickness with my son. I call it "all day sickness" and it lasted up until I was about 6 months along. I lost a decent amount of weight in my 1st trimester due to it and was on Zofran for the better part of my pregnancy just to be able to function. The nausea was unbearable.

Re: boy mamas, come in...

I always hear more often no MS with boys - I consider myself lucky that I had none with either boy.

SIL had no MS with her 1st PG- a girl - but had awful MS with her DS that she needed medication for and it lasted most of the entire pregnancy.
