Bruce Jenner to discuss transformation on tv
Bruce Jenner is ready for the world to see who he really is.
The former Olympian and reality star, 65, has taped an interview and is currently filming an unscripted E! reality series of his own about his “desire to look like a woman and live as one,” reports Us Weekly.
“It’s a docuseries featuring the Jenner family talking about Bruce ‘coming out.’ The world will see his full transformation,” a source told the magazine.
The magazine claims Jenner finally feels comfortable speaking out because of the support of his 10 children and stepchildren.
“He has been carrying this with him for so long that everyone is relieved he is starting to come out with it,” the source said. “They were so worried that their dad had no one to talk to about this. They are happy when he opens up because it’s been such a long time coming.”
Stepdaughter Kim Kardashian talked about her stepfather’s journey, which Us Weekly says will be a plot point on the upcoming season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” earlier this week.
“I think everyone goes through things in life and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he’ll share whenever the time is right,” she said on Monday. “I feel like that’s his journey to talk about.”
Someone who has been less encouraging is ex-wife Kris, who, the magazine reports, has been aware of his desire to live as a woman since the beginning of their relationship.
“She treats the whole thing like it will just go away,” a family source told the magazine. “She tells the public it isn’t true rather than try to understand. She has made no attempt to seriously understand him.”
A request for comment from Jenner’s representative was not immediately returned.

I won't - WHY does this have to be televised? WHY must he make money on 'telling his story" to world? I think these people make a trashy disaster of everything they touch -
I think, personally that "HIS" story shouldn't be told on national TV, in the public eye - he's turned into a joke - and NOT b/c of his supposed transgender .........b/c of his association w/ that whole poisonous family -
I also think allowing him to be the public image creates a HORRIBLE stereotype for real people going through this and trying to be accepted.

I'm going to watch because I'd like to hear what he's going through in his own words. I wouldn't if he was forced to do it. He's choosing to share and like Chaz's show, the 20/20s I've watched and other documentaries about this, I think it's really interesting and brave.

I'm all for the occasional distraction but 25 years of reality television, and the generations weaned on it, has really diluted the common body of knowledge and overall awareness of the American public.
And what do these people do? What are they known for? They became famous, rich, heck, built and empire that started with a SEX TAPE, a sex tape!!! At one time in our society the general public would have never given them the time of day. Kim would have been the embarrassment of her family and the entire family would have been shunned by the greater society.
It says a lot about the decline of civilization when such a group of corrupt, sexualized, uneducated morons are lauded and supported with unfathomable financial compensation and attention by the greater masses.

It doesn't sound like he was forced to do it at all. He doesn't seem to be like that.
I'm curious to watch, but they aren't celebrities to me at all.
The only thing I feel sad about is that he is 65. He's lived his whole life not feeling comfortable in his own skin. I hope this brings him some peace.

I just started watching the show transparent on amazon. It is so emotional - hard to watch but excellent.
I feel for bruce but dont agree with coming out this way. On the other hand the press is going to tear him apart until he makes a statement.

The Jenners are just striking on the popularity of Amazon's Transparent IMO.
I too also think this Docu-Series is money motivated, not just to tell his story. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Kris was behind that disgusting In Touch magazine cover debacle.
The only reason he wants it on his own terms is so his Pimp w0re of a wife can spin it and piece it together to tell a story that makes the most money.
