XPOST: Best site to look for airfare?
Read below or click me :)
What website so you recommend will give me the best options for airfare? Thanks I rarely fly and I am trying to avoid going on a ton of sites to see the best deal.

Haven't used it myself but saw this article about how they are being sued by Orbitz and United Airlines, so it must really work.

Depends where I'm going. I use skyscanner first, look up the best deal then go direct to the carrier. I have seen skiplagged etc.
I travel with AJ so I am for direct and cheap. LOL That said, I'm actually not a fan of Southwest for the most part. Skiplagged would have worked when I flew solo to my sister, flew direct to San Diego on SW then had stops on the way back with Delta. I don't care so much about the name on the wing as long as its recognized.
JetBlue however is by far my cheapest choice for any major city as long as I leave out of Austin. Thing is it doesn't always pop on those search engine sites. So its an extra effort for me to check into it but so worth it!
Flying 3 seats round trip direct with no stops from Austin to JFK for $678 all in (including taxes etc) is totally worth it to me. Especially with the free checked baggage, the TVs in the seats and the free snacks that have no limit!
