what to do with a toddler and a newborn in the winter?
Any ideas of things to do with a toddler (exactly 2) and a 4 week old? He will be 5 weeks next week. We need to get out the house. If it's cold what are some things I can do with ds? I thought play area at the mall, or bounce u. Both times just keeping the infant in the stroller or wearing him.
Anything else? ? Thanks! !

GO anywhere. I had DS in the winter and I would take him anywhere.
Check the library also. But I def did mall walks etc. for the toddler anything that breaks up the day will help cabin fever.

My older DS was 22 months when my younger son was born. I took them everywhere. It was late March so it was a bit warmer, but we did plenty of indoor things too. Once Upon A Treetop is a big hit with my kids.

Children's museum should be pretty empty next week when everyone goes back to school. Otherwise I would go anywhere that the 2 year old can walk around. I'm in a similar situation- 23 month old and a 4 week old. We've been hanging out with cousins a lot and I take the older one with me to run errands just to get him out of the house. I've taken him to the mall to play in those little play areas a few times too.

I haven't taken the baby out yet but I can't wait. Dd1 is definitely restless. When I can get her out we do the library,errands, the mall play area, Barnes and Noble, the aquarium. She loves imaginations at play but the germs this time of year make me nervous. Yesterday I had to do returns at carters and just let her wander the store for a bit afterwards and she was happy lol.
