My kids have both had it and I've never caught it. I do know someone who has though.

Yep - I caught it once from my DS and my father did as well. My husband caught it once from our DD.

Yes, but we all got a mild case with no sores. Only bad cold symptoms with a sore throat. We were out and I licked DS's baby food spoon so I didn't have to pack it sticky. He had fever by the end of the day. Lesson learned!

did you ever catch coxsackie from your kid?
I once caught it from an unknown source, when I was approx. 24. At the time, I initially thought I had strep throat, but then started getting sores on my gums and fingers. I had no clue what I was sick with, but after watching DD go through it earlier this year, I realized that I must've had coxsackie. It was incredibly awful.

I was run down and had a sore throat which in retrospect was probably a mild case. My DH got it bad with the sores and everything

My dh did. He said it was horribl.. He said he felt so bad for our son who had it the week before because he said he had never felt so horrible.

Yes.
I have gotten it twice. Just recently from both my kids, then grandpa got it. I have to say he got it the worst.

My Dh did, I did not. He had different symptoms than DD but he was extremely ill, chills, fever, then got the peeling fingers.
