Neighbor moving - gift?
Our neighbors are moving away. The husband is a rabbi and got an opportunity in Maine. Would love to get them a small token as they have been very kind and are giving us some toys for dd. Really not sure if they drink alcohol so I don't wanna go that route. Any ideas?? I'm stumped

Neighbor moving - gift?
Make them something personal that they can eat and appreciate as they pack. Cookies, a cake, etc.

I got something similar for a friend who is moving. I can't wait to give it to her!
To the OP, if you hit up a touristy town (port jeff, long beach) I'm sure you could find some Long Island stuff.

When we moved our friends/Neighbor gave us a gc to bbb. I really appreciated bc when u move their always something new you need to get.

I like the BBB gift card. I'd get that along with a box of cookies from a good kosher bakery. Everyone loves cookies!

I would overnight them bagels from NY for when they arrive. H&H (in Manhattan) does this.
Also you can't go wrong with a home depot gift card.

Get them a Mezzuzah for the new house. Its a small "box" that goes on all door frames of a Jewish home.
They usually come without the scroll, which is ok. He is a Rabbi and will be able to get one.
but it would be a REALLY nice gift. You can get them online for all different price points.

As someone who has moved a lot, I like the gift card and the food ideas. I wouldn't give them anything they have to pack or worry about breaking.
