Tissues ?

Does anyone carry tissues anymore ? All I hear is sniffling on the bus this morning.
It is just gross to hear grown ups sucking up their snot.

Probably not.

I always try to have at least a handful of napkins on me. I'm in Starbucks and similar enough.

Plus my son has allergies and his nose is always running.

I always have one of those small packs in my bag - especially during allergy season. I know it's gross, but unfortunately some people can't help it. This time of year is awful and I know my nose is always running.

I'm like an old lady...I always keep one folded in my sleeve. Its like a part of me...if I don't have it with me, I feel nekkid!

i try to but sometimes I don't realize I have none and wish I did!

I always carry a pack of tissues - I have allergies and know what it is to have your nose run, my eyes run too sometimes.

I also carry either a small bottle of water or some hard candy with me, for when I get that tickle in the throat that turns into a major coughing fit.
That's not fun on an hour plus bus ride.

Always have them in my purse and in my car. Both AJ and I suffer from allergies.. its an all year thing.

Between the cold winter and allergies all I want to do is offer everyone around me on the train a tissue.

I did offer to one guy the other night because I could not stand listening to him anymore.

So yes I always have them with me.

I am so glad you wrote this post because I swear people sniffing back their boogers are EVERYWHERE and tissues you ask; they seem to be no where. It bothers me so much that I have 2 boxes at all times in my classroom and no fewer than like 20 little "on the go" packs in my drawer for students to take and keep if they need them.

I ALWAYS do. Its gross when people keep snorting the yuckiness in.

I always have to have them. Like PearlJamKid I often have one tucked into my sleeve. Pockets are another essential for tissues.

I was reminded of this thread this morning while on the train and the guy next to me kept sniffling and sniffling and clearing his throat every.five.seconds. Without exaggeration.
It was maddening.

When I commuted I always did. I hate sniffling. I also always had water. One of the things I hated about commuting.

but sometimes there's no snot -- it's just to clear your nostrils b/c the allergies are so insane. believe me, I know it's gross, but sometimes you just don't need a tissue.
