Good OBs who deliver at LIJ/North Shore??
Just want to hear any recs from you girls.
Leaning towards LIJ or North Shore as my hospital.

Lauren Bashian - she is very calming and always so positive. I find her very reassuring. She is in Bellmore on Merrick Rd and Newbridge Rd.

Bashian is the OB I am considering being that she is close to me but I am worried because I have heard sketchy reviews about her office staff and front desk.

Bashian is the OB I am considering being that she is close to me but I am worried because I have heard sketchy reviews about her office staff and front desk.
They just got taken over by NS/LIJ, there is always a wait (but I'm used to it working in medical offices), one day I walked in for my 1st beta and she ran out as I was walking in because she got called out to the hospital. The girls there called her to check what she was testing and they still did the blood draw. Her medical assistant is very sweet, and my first sono back in week 6 went very smoothly, the tech was gentle (transvag) and also reassuring.

I am delivering twins at 39 and am high risk. He works in conjunction with Madonna Fetal medicine they are at his office once per week. My blood pressure is slowly increasing so they are watching me for pre e.

North shore OB//Gyn associates in Great Neck. I love Dr. Klein, Gilbert, Alkasab and Rubin. They have high risk and MFM too, but yuo can see anyone

Dr. Trongone. Delivered both kids and very happy with him and the staff. His staff is mostly nurses so you always get someone that can assist/answer questions immediately. I have not seen his new partner yet so I can't comment on that!

I've met the new partner twice already and he's just as wonderful as Dr. T! agreed re: nurses - they're also wonderful.

My daughter delivered last week at North Shore Manhasset and used Drs. Trongone and Petrocelli. She was very happy with them and the care at the hospital.

Another vote for Dr Cohen!!! Love him!! My son wound up being a crash C-section and he handled the craziness perfectly. Always great at the visits, nurses are nice and love that you have the sonograms right there in the office and they do the bloodwork there too.

I also delivered with them last week. They were so amazing and I highly recommend them. I could not have been happier with their care and I just love Trongone especially.

Another one for Trongone and Petrocelli! I can not say enough good things about them both. It says something about a doctor when all the nurses on L&D and maternity use them as their doctor!
