Bloody Hell, where I live you can't move for all the breast feeding ladies!!! I think everyone should be able to BF wherever the heck they want...what else are boobies for???????

I agree with this....
I also feel that women can always use the breastpump at home before they leave the house and put the milk in a bottle in the event the baby gets hungry and needs to eat. They now even have something available so that you can warm up the milk in your car.
Just to let you know, lots of BF babies won't take bottles at all! Lots of my friends are battling with this currently as they are due to go back to work. And also, believe it or not, some women can't express milk at all. So really, thats not always an option.

Just to let you know, lots of BF babies won't take bottles at all! Lots of my friends are battling with this currently as they are due to go back to work. And also, believe it or not, some women can't express milk at all. So really, thats not always an option.
I understand that. And that's why I think when you start BF, you should do both(BF and put BF milk in a bottle) so in the event that you are out and about, you should have another option. Also, because when it's time to go back to work, it will be much easier. I understand as well that all times this is not feasible for some women as well.
Sorry, I should say that some women are not PHYSICALLY able to express, they dopn't have let down unless its the baby on the boob.

That doesn't work for all women either. Pumping can affect your milk supply negatively because it's not the same as BFing a child. So for women who have a low milk supply as it is, this is not a good option. They need to BF, not pump, as much as possible.
As for me, no I am not offended by BFing in public and I think some people(not people on here, just people in general) need to loosen up about it. I think it can and should be done discreetly and that's best. I probably need to loosen up too though because the one thing that does make me uncomfortable is seeing someone BF a child who can stand and walk.

I went to sleep away camp when I was around 13 yrs old and they had the same open showers  I took my showers late at night when most everyone else was asleep... and I didn't take one every day. boy was I stinky!!!!!!!  I will never forget that! horrible experience! Needless to say, I NEVER went to sleep away camp again

im not offended if its done discreetly....
im SERIOUSLY NOT KIDDING< i was somewhere once and the daughter came up to her mother(im assuming she was3-4 years old) said, "mommy im thirsty" and the mother wipped out her boob for her to take a sip
my questions are
isnt that illegal
a woman can still have milk 4 years later?
does the milk come out whenever someone s u c k s on it.
That above experience freaked me out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hated pumping! It hurt and my son refused to take a bottle. This doesn't always work out.

I mentioned that it doesn't always work out for everyone...but for those that have the options, it's a good idea. I have no problems with women BF in public as long as they do it discreetly.
I am just super sensitive to this issue because for me discreet is not an option My boobs are huge and I can only BF in the football hold or my kids will suffocate. The one time I did BF in public was at a friends baby shower and I had a blanket over me but he was crying and I was so uncomfortable I ended up having to leave because I started crying. I stayed in a lot because I didn't want to BF in public. I give a lot of credit to woman who are comfortable enough to do it.

I BFed in public many times. It was always descreat and nobody ever saw my boobs. There is never any need for weaping it out. It is desrespectful first of all to your own body. These are my nipples, i certainly wouldn't want some strange people to see them.

Okay that's a bit much, IMO but to answer your questions.
1. No it's not illegal, why would it be?
2. Yep, a woman will continue to produce milk as long as she BFing. Rule of supply and demand.
3. Um...I guess yeah. 
It doesn't sound like this woman was very discreet and IMO, if the child can ask for the boob in a complete sentence, walk up to it, take it out and feed herself, she's too old to be BF'd. But then again who am I to tell someone how long they should BF for.

I completely disagree. Why should a women have to sit for the 10 minutes and pump out milk, bring a bottle, ice packs & then figure out a way to warm up the bottle because people can't deal.
I pumped at work & breastfed at home. Let me tell you - having a machine literally pull at your nipple until milk comes out is no picnic. Once you've pumped then tell us what is easier or a good idea.
