Scandal? (SPOILERS)
 For David. That was so sad.
Liv's mom is pretty bad ass. I'm interested in seeing where that story line goes. Huck kissing Quinn grossed me out for some reason. And I'm happy Mele hooked up with that guy.
I'm confused about something so maybe someone can explain. They are saying that they killed the 3 because of the Daniel Douglas murder. If that story leaked, obviously the VP would be headed to jail but so would Cyrus. Even though Jake was the one who executed the plan with the 2 reporters and David, do you think it was Cyrus who directed him to kill them or do you think it was his own independent decision to protect the current administration from a huge cover up scandal (even though the president had nothing to do with it)?

Ugh, I cried when Cyrus fell apart while giving his speech, it was so sad....especially since you never see him like that. 
I didnt think that whoever got shot would die!!
Both of Liv's parents are seriously crazy!!! i wouldnt want to mess with either of them. I wonder what Mama Pope and that woman are up to...clearly that woman(i just can't remember her name) wants out.
I didnt like Huck kissing Quinn, maybe its just because I REALLY dont like Quinn
And good for Mellie getting it in!! hahaha
Good theory with the Cyrus thing....I didnt think of it that way. With this show, you just never know, it could very well be that. BUT Jake is also pretty much a monster right now, so it could've just been his decision. Now I'm thinking back to what he said to James as he was dying for clues.

For the life of me I cannot figure out what Quinn's appeal is!! She annoys the crap outta me!
I have to say, I love the story lines of this show.....but the acting is so over the top dramatic at ALL times. Why does every.single.word need to be enunciated, and every statement repeated for emphasis?
And I am probably the only one, but I prefer Jake over Fitz. It makes me so uncomfortable how their affair is being treated as completely ok. He is still married. I don't like that. And besides, Fitz just seems angry and miserable all the time, even when he's with Olivia.

I know!!! It is SO annoying! That's a Shonda Rymes thing. Grey's Anatomy does it (and also the repeating of the same phrases, i.e. "You don't get to ___!" over and over again). Private Practice had a lot of that too.

This was an amazing episode and so twisted! I think the plan was always to kill the reporters and James. Jake needed David to wrap the case up and get someone arrested ASAP so no one would suspect B613. I am surprised that so much was covered last night. I thought Shonda would keep some mystery. What really struck me was how Jake was so adament he was not Liv's father and that last scene with him and James proved it for me. I can't wait to see what happens next. As for Quinn and Huck, I just found it akaward and gross. Quinn is not a bad ass nor is she B613, She and Huck do not belong together It was like watching a brother and sister kiss and I had to look away.

I was sobbing from the minute Cyrus took the podium until the very last scene. Shondra gave me ALL THE FEELS last night!!!
That whole Quinn/Huck scene was so gross. Who has that much spit ready to go in their mouth?!?!? F'in gross!

I was wondering if Cyress was behind the killing too. Since he went to Jake about the vice president. Still not too sure even after his breakdown.
As for Mellie and the other guy. She's only with Fritz because of the presidency. She basically told Fritz and Olivia to be together. Just not out in the open. Thats how bad she wants him to remain president. She begged Olivia to come back. Strange dynamics for sure. But I'm not too surprised. I can see this happening IRL. Maybe not with the president, but with other high power high profile jobs.
ETS: Did anyone see Lena Dunham on SNL do a spoof on this show. Its so funny and addresses how fast they talk and how quick it moves. I can't post it from my phone or I would.

Uh, I hate to see James go. Dan Bucatinsky is an awesome actor. The scene where they flashed back to the inaugural ball was amazing.... I haven't cried like that since 752...
I still don't like Jake, and I'm on pins and needles about mama pope. I need to see a LOT more Harrison nakedness

Okay, I *KNOW* I'm probably in the minority here...but I don't hate Jake. There, I said it. I think Fitz put Jake in an IMPOSSIBLE position...and I think he did it on purpose bc he knew what being command would mean for Jake and I think he really wants Liv to see Jake as some sort of monster so he can have her to himself. I love Fitz, but he is one selfish man. I'm not condoning Jake murdering 3 people in cold blood...BUT, part of me feels for him bc he can't ever come back from that and he seemed like a decent man.
I'm sad about James.
HuckleberryQuinn sort of creeped me out...and I really WANTED them together at first. Now, it's just way uncomfortable!
Yay for Papa Pope being a "dad" for 5 whole minutes. But PLEASE stop repeating yourself 800 times (183!!)
Mama Pope scares me like no other. 
And lastly...while I feel Cyrus' grief for James was REAL...I find it RIDICULOUSLY hard to believe that when he was told it was a "carjacking"...that he just accepted that. Cyrus is a man who plots and schemes and covers things up... I feel like he HAS to know that explanation is BS.
