UPDATE - Theresa & Joe Plead Guilty
"I am heartbroken that this is affecting my family. Especially my four young daughters, who mean more to me than anything in the world," the Real Housewife of New Jersey said in the statement. Although she won't be sentenced until July 8, Teresa could reportedly spend up to two years in federal prison

What really chaps my ass is they sat on that special with Andy Cohen and flat out lied. You knew you were guilty, why go on TV and say you're not guilty only to plead guilty. I don't get it...they should have just kept their mouths shut!

Because they needed to work out a deal.
Why go on national TV and say you're guilty when the chances are pretty good you will a get deal. Happens every day.
Guess they could've just said no comment. But their egos are too big. They thought would get away with this.
And I doubt both will go to jail. She will probably have a heavy probation sentence so she can stay with her daughters.

I just remember in season 1 when she showboated and dropped like 20K in CASH to pay for her furniture.

I know they did the crime but I feel so bad for their daughters. I hope one of them at least can stay home and raise their children .

She dolled out $120,000 in cash to pay for the furniture. 2 weeks later they were being investigated.
They brought this on themselves. Period. Their children will suffer because they wanted to "get rich quick".
For the ONLY reason of their 4 children, I hope she does not go to jail. Yes she was wrong, broke the law etc etc. But there are 4 children to consider. And NOT that I condone what they did. However, they got loans. Its not like they were killing people.
They are going to loose everything...cant wait to see how her lifestly changes and if she has to get an actual job.

I feel bad for their kids because they are definitely already living what they learn. Gia (oldest) was on instagram calling a boy a gay slur. Sounds familiar doesn't it? (::cough cough joe cough cough::)

I'm ok with her going to jail too. I feel for the kids but they both deserve jail time. They can serve it consecutively but they both should serve.

yup bc they're indecent people……anyone who could do the things they are guilty of shouldn't be able to sleep at night. I only feel for those kids…none else.

This exactly. Let them take turns serving so one parent is home with the kids (you know, raising them properly and setting a good example )

There are lots of mothers in jail. Why should she be an exception? They are awful people - as the OP said, they didn't consider their children while breaking the law. You can't paint yourself as a victim when you clearly aren't.
I read that she's requesting house arrest.
