Philip Seymour Hoffman Autopsy Results
Medical Examiner: Hoffman Killed by Mix of Uppers and Downers
Philip Seymour Hoffman died from an overdose of both uppers and downers, including heroin, cocaine, amphetamines and benzodiazepines, the New York medical examiner concluded Friday.
The death was ruled accidental, and the official cause was listed as acute mixed drug intoxication.
The Oscar-winning actor was found dead in his New York apartment Feb. 2 with a syringe in his arm.

I honestly don't understand how this is an accident.... how can you mix all this stuff in your body and not know you could die? It's like a suicide cocktail.
Same thing happened to Corey Monteith & Heath Ledger, no?

I believe Heath Ledger was pills.
However, this did kill Chris Farley and John Belushi.

Maybe being so effed up on one or 2 of them made him not realize how much crap he was putting in his body at once?
Who knows.
Either way he wasted his life on drugs.
Shame.

^Heath Ledger died from a combination of prescription meds, and Corey Monteith died from mixing heroin and booze. This was more like how Chris Farley and River Phoenix died, speedballing...coke and heroin.
I'm still so sad about his death. I rarely get too worked up over celebrities dying but this one has made me so sad...his sobriety for so long, having so much talent, and then all of it coming to a crashing end so suddenly.
I hate, hate, hate that I will never see him in another movie or on another stage again.
