Didgeridoo
I just got some didgeridoos and some training DVDs. According to a few studies, didgeridoos help exercise the throat muscles, which is supposed to help lessen snoring. It's worth a shot, and I think it's pretty cool learning a non-typical instrument. Especially since it doesn't involve reading sheet music...

Re: Didgeridoo
I can get it to sound sort of like what it should sound like, with a couple of effects already, but I'm having a hard time with the "circular breathing". It's how they keep the sound going non-stop. You have to fill your cheeks with air and just use that air while you breath in with your nose. It's definitely interesting.

Probably not, at least not directly. It's not actually "breathing", it's making air go through the instrument continuously. You're filling your mouth with air to push out while you breath in. It's much more work than breathing normally, so I wouldn't suggest doing it while running.
However, the didgeridoo DOES improve your breathing, all of the muscles in your mouth, throat, etc. So playing the didge probably would help with running.

Re: Didgeridoo
That is so cool. I was treated to a performance when I visited Australia in 2005. Good luck with it!!!
