Can I share what an awesome human being Gavin DeGraw is?
My husbands friends son (seen in the video) is blind. He is in 5th grade and plays the piano really well. Well, first, somehow word got to him that he was blind and in the audience and a huge fan. So he had him brought up to sit up front at the Paramount. THEN - he invited him up on stage with him. He let him play for the audience. He played the song he did for NYSMA and then he played along with "If you ask me." For the parts he didn't know, Gavin sat at the piano and helped him out.
He was SO kind to him and so genuine! He really wanted him to do well! Here is the video!

Oh man…that was Fantastic!
I loved when the audience was signing along!
It really made his day! It was so wonderful of him! From what I gather, the child (Anthony) is very into music so this was a HUGE moment for him.

I know! I wasn't a Gavin DeGraw fan to start, I could take him or leave him but now, I ADORE him!

You know Vic?  We graduated high school together.
For anyone interested, Anthony Dones has his own fan club on Facebook. He has had an amazing life so far.

Vic is a wonderful person, has been since we were kids. He stuck up for me a few times when someone was picking on me, I never forgot that.

My friend had an awful, horrible experience with him.
He was completely rude and said horrible racist things to her.
I am sure he can put it on for an audience.
