natural and organic moms- cheese?
what kinds of cheese do you get?
is cold cut cheese from the deli counter ok? any brands or types of cheese that are best? anything that says "natural" cheese is fine right?

Only you can say what you consider "OK". You can go to the Boars Head website and see ingredient lists to all of their products--that's what you'd get sliced at the deli.
I use Organic Valley cheeses. I buy them at Wild by Nature.

I buy organic cheese - usually organic valley. The same criteria I use to buy my milk is what I use for cheese or any dairy products since it's about how they treat / feed the animal producing it.

We do only organic milk and yogurt, but mostly non-organic cheese. I realize that conflicts but I feel like there are fewer organic cheese options? I would like to transition to organic however

Whole foods has organic cheese. I found the organic valley also at fairway.

I have been using Kerry Gold cheese from Cotsco. Great price. It is cheese from grass fed cows.

I usually get this cheese from trader joes as it is a buck or two cheaper... their own organic american cheese slices. Stop and Shop does have horizons, as well as another brand or two which I typically find in the "natural" refrigerated section with all the dairy free products (oddly enough).

Other than raw cheese from grass fed cows, kerrygold is probably your next best option. Like pp said, the cheese is from grass fed cows. The issue with "natural" cheeses is that the cows most likely were given gmo grains, not treated humanely, etc. There's no real criteria for the term "natural."
I also buy kerrygold butter over the organic brands. Grassfed dairy has the proper ratio of omega 3s and 6s and more CLAs.

I buy blocks of raw grass fed organic from fairway, i cant think of what brand it is. Its cheaper in the block and they have different varieties. DD likes the sharp cheddar best.

Whole foods has organic valley 100 percent grass fed cheese. Also try Rumiano farms organic, grass fed cheese and Trader's joes organic,grass fed cheddar cheese imported from New Zealand. Eta : Applegate Farms has a nice line of sliced organic cheese. I've seen it at Fairway, Whole Foods and Trader Joes.

I find Organic Valley cheeses at Stop and Shop, Wild by Nature, King Kullen, Key food and Fairway.
In a pinch I have given cheese labeled "we pledge not to use milk from cows treated with RbST" or something. I really prefer only organic.
