generally speaking, i am against inductions. although there are many a success story, i find that more often than not they wind up being emergency c-sections. unless all looked well and the little one just needed a slight "nudge", i would attempt to go natural or c-section if medically necessary.

Induce....I did it and my DD was out in 5 pushes. Greatest experience of my life!! Good Luck

I was in the same position with my son. I never went into labor and the days just passed. Around 9/10 days late they asked me what I wanted to do. I had the choice of being induced (with a potential 10 lb baby!) or waiting to see what happens. I wound up scheduling a c-section for day 13 that would have been scheduled if something had happened on its own. But it never did. My son was 13 days late and 10 lbs 13 oz!!! My fear was winding up w/ a csection anyways after laboring for hours.

I went the day before my due date and opted for induction. It was a great experience. I had dilated to 2cm and 75% effaced and stayed there for like 3 weeks!!!

For us it was a combo of convenience and I was so done with being PG

Go for it! I was 13 days overdue - I'll never go through that again!!

I was induced 7 days after my due date, go for it

Thanks for all of your input. I just started a new post, I was schedule for a c-section tomorrow morning!
