cards and postage can add up!
my list is usually around 50-75.
I do go through my list every few years and pare it down, taking off friends who I don't keep in touch with anymore or those who don't send cards to us

Geeeeeeeeeeez. I don't know 100+ people. 
I send out ZERO. Maybe when we have kids, but even then, I'd be okay with zero.

Just ordered 150   but we should have a decent amount of leftovers. I may send the extras to the soldiers overseas.

Around 50. I only send to close friends and family and people who send them to me. I gave up trying to mail out hundreds. It's not worth it especially when I don't receive one from half of those people.

I send out ZERO. Maybe when we have kids, but even then, I'd be okay with zero.
I never started doing cards, even after having kids. Save the money. Save some trees. Nobody really cares that much about seeing a holiday photo of your kids. Put the pic on FB

Yup. My list gets smaller and smaller.
My cards were like over $2 a piece- If I had to send 100+ I'd be bankrupt!

I kind of disagree with you. I love getting christmas cards! And I am generally a bit of a scrooge about most of Christmas.
We send about 100. Yeah, the costs add up, but I like to do it anyway. I wish I could cut it down a little, but usually it's just people we really never keep in touch with anymore and by then, there's usually someone new.

i dont do them either
if i did them, i would need 125 (thats how many birth announcements we sent out earlier in the year)
