passport photo for 6 month old?
how did they do this? did you go to the post office and have it done or cvs?

Did it at the passport office. They will retake if it doesn't come out for free (ie you are guaranteed the pic is good enough).
You have to make an appointment far in advance or attend a "passport fair".

passport photo for 6 month old?
I brought my dd to a photo place for the pic then mailed everything in. Paid for expedited service to ensure it got here on time. It was actually not that bad, but my dd is a ham for the camera LOL

I just did this.. he was 8 months.
The passport website says to lay them on a white sheet and take a picture yourself. I did that, it worked out perfectly. They can not be smiling in the picture and it has to be just their face when cut 2x2.
I had them printed at walgreens and they cut it at the passport office ( I went to the TOBAY building in massapequa).
we went to the office on 11/1, we got home from vacation on 11/15 and the passport was in our pile of mail. Super quick and we did NOT expedite.

We went to cvs.. she sat on my lap and they put back background in between us. They took a few pictures and asked me which one I wanted to use ..

They are open everyday... I think they are just open late on the 4th tuesday of every month!

my dd was 8 months or so when i got hers taken... we did it at the post office and im glad i did... they were very patient with my squirmy dd to get a good pic that they knew would be acceptable... we sat her on top of a desk and a few pics later we were done!
