The germ's are still in the air and they float and attach to your brush. I need to go find where I read a study on this.

Re: Does your DH

My hubby brings a magazine in. And there are several studies about the germs in the air and toothbrushes.

What gets me and I feel disgusted it is at work. there is someone who takes a magazine from the luch area , goes to the bathroom (they are across the hall from each other) and leaves the magazine in the bathroom at work. this IS NOT your house. Chat Icon I leave it in there cause I dont want to touch it. then the next day or much later the same day I see the same magazine in the luch area. its just nasty

I don't mind it at home. But I'm also guilty of it - what can I say - I'm a multi-tasker!! Chat Icon

But it DEFINITELY bothers me at work! I agree - you aren't at home!!

Re: Does your DH

I actually keep my tooth brush in my bedroom. I always have. I grew up in a one bathroom home with 6 brothers and sisters. That would have been 9 toothbrushes on the counter, and one was always touching mine, so I have always kept it in my room. DH thought it was weird but he does it now as well. I did see that oprah though were they tested the germs on the toothbrush and it was soooooo gross.

Re: Does your DH

Dh doesn't bring a magazine, but the newspaper.

I'll know how long he'll be in there by the number of sections of the NY Times he takes with him!!! The more he takes in, the longer he'll be.....

Re: Does your DH

My Dh keeps a magazine rack in his bathroom...(we have a 2 1/2 baths so he uses the guest bathroom) - I don't mind it...whatever he wants to do behind closed doors is none of my business...

Re: Does your DH

Both of us do! And for the record, once in the bathroom, it doens't leave unless going to the garbage.

Here's a story for you. One day, I noticed one of my students had been in the bathroom longer than usual. So I waited by the door of the classroom for her to come back. I see her coming out of the bathroom with something under her shirt. So I stop her and ask her what was she hiding. She pulls out a BOOK!!!!!!!! I wanted to laugh my a$$ off because how often do you see a 5th grade girl taking a book with her to the bathroom. I told her that that was fine at home but not for school, but I had to tell everyone!Chat Icon

read magazines in the bathroom?
Mine does...I just do not get why anyone would read a magazine in the bathroom?

Can someone explain?

Because most men like to take their time on the crapper. We get bored easily.

Reading material = solution
