plaid shirts for women??
I have seeing plaid button down shirt for women everywhere, what are thoughts on them for the fall?? Thanks ladies

They can look cute but it's just not my style.
I am sure it would look cute on me, but I just dont' feel right in plaid.

I just saw this pic of Jennifer Aniston in a plaid shirt that I love - but its more "stylish" than a "regular" plaid shirt, if you KWIM. (and of course the shirt is $350 - oh well)

LOVE them. With skinnies and riding boots!
You can add a blazer or sweater over it, too!
^I just realized that's Ashley Olsen! She looks good! Much better than she normally dresses, must be an old pic!
ETA: I have one from Kohl's and one from... PacSun? The Gap? One of those places...

I just got a cute one from Banana. I think the key is they have to be nicely fitted otherwise I think they can look frumpy.

It's a little summery, but good for this in-between weather.
I don't wear skinny jeans either, I am wearing it with this skirt in charcoal gray. You can't tell in the picture but the top has gray in it.

Love that skirt!!
Thanks--it's form Loft. They still have it in green & light pink, but not the gray & tan. I have it in. Mine also has a ribbon belt, not sure if these do & it just isn't shown in the picture.
I like the green a lot, and almost bought it, but I need a tan & wanted to replace a stained gray skirt, so I thought buying 3 was crazy.

i never thought i would like them on me, but i found a really cute one with pinks and purples and teal.. and i love it, i want more... i wear it with skinny jeans or leggings and riding boots

They never look right on me. For some reason they don't fall right on my chest. Also I used to wear the plaid button down shirts all the time in junior high & looking back I looked awful, so I don't want to visit that look again.

Not really a fan but I'm not a huge fan of anything button down in general (on me at least).
I also rarely do the skinny jean/legging/boots over pants look either. I was actually going to start a similar post about this, because I love the look of riding boots, but always wondered what to wear them with and felt like it was almost a waste of money since I don't wear them over my pants, and I'm not a big skirt person either.

I feel like this with ALL button downs!
I rarely ever wear them anymore. I feel like they make my boobs look really low or something!
