What a surprise. Parents not making their kids take any responsibility for their actions.  From a legal standpoint, I'm not sure if what he did is 'allowed' or not but I think it's awesome! Good for him! These kids should be called out for destroying this guys home. And I think he is absolutely right about parents being more aware of what their kids are doing online/social media!

If Brian Holloway thought the hundreds of teenagers who destroyed his home were ruthless, wait until their families are through with him.
Several parents are reportedly considering lawsuits against the former NFL star after he posted their children's names on a website created in the wake of the Labor Day weekend house party.
The website, www.helpmesave300.com, identifies over 100 of the estimated 300 house-crashers who trashed his upstate New York residence, and includes photos and tweets that documented the reckless destruction.
Holloway estimates the damage of his house to be in the $20,000 range.
But rather than apologize to Holloway for their children's behavior, some parents have contacted their lawyers to see what legal action they can take against the former Patriots and Raiders offensive lineman, local affiliate ABC News 10 reported.
"Parents have threatened me," Holloway, a three-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl XX veteran, told ABC News. "Your kids are in my house breaking and stealing my stuff and you are mad at me because I posted pictures that they took and posted themselves of them partying and tearing things up?"
Even more troubling for Holloway is the fact that he offered parents the chance to make amends for the estimated $20,000 in damage caused to his house, including smashed windows and glass doors, urinated carpets, holes in the ceilings, as well as a stolen eagle statue that was part of a memorial for his stillborn grandson.
The former grid iron star is holding a picnic for veterans at the home on Saturday, and invited the rowdy teens and their parents to help him clean the house.
"Come out and help set up, fix up, bring food, and picnic stuff, so we can honor these real HEROS," he wrote on his website. "I'm here. Come now. Take a stand for your future. This is called redemption."
Holloway told CNN Friday he was coming to the situation as a father, not a punishing former offensive lineman.
"There are 300 lives at stake," Holloway said on the show "New Day." "I don't want to be standing over one of these kids' caskets 30 years from now."
The invitation fell on deaf ears.
"I expected 100 parents to show. Only one showed up," he told ABC News.
Had more of them taken up Holloway on his offer, they would have seen evidence of illegal drug and alcohol use in addition to random acts of violence.
"You can see the scars on the floor from where the keggers were brought through. The carpet, there was beer liquor and everything else you can think of, so we had to remove the carpet."
Holloway, who was in his primary residence in Lutz, Fl., at the time of the party, hasn't decided whether he'll press charges against the teenagers.
So far no arrests have been made.
Holloway said he hoped the incident would motivate more parents to check what their kids are posting to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
"Parents need to step up and go old school," he told CNN

I'm sorry but my childs arse would be kicked all the way to community service that I would make the court give to them.

I saw this on the news last night and it angered me so much. I cannot believe that these parents are suing the guy whose house their kids destroyed!! Those little shits. If that were my kid you best believe I would make him spend hours cleaning up everything in that house, paint, etc. So sad that this is how these parents reacted.

This is ridiculous. I really weep for our future. .
If my son did this I would be absolutely mortified! I wouldn't be trying to deflect blame from my son by filing a lawsuit against the NFL player for calling my kid out for being a stupid little punk.

I believe huff post just did this great article on the young generation being coddled and feeling like special snowflakes. This just reminded me of the article - youth having no sense of taking ownership and parents fueling the fire.
There was a lot I didn't agree with in the piece, but now I see a connection.
Those parents are idiots just as much as the kids.

Didn't read it yet, but I will. I just lol'd at "special snowflakes." 
It really is ridiculous. If he just reposted photos that were already available on the internet, he might be okay.
ETA: And the eagle statue that was a memorial for a stillborn grandson??? How horrible. I mean, they might not have known, but they shouldn't have been there in the first place. And pissing on carpets? Animals. Disgusting.

They're going to sue him for publically posting tweets their kids posted themsevles? Good luck with that.
Also from the photos that looks a lot more than $20K in damages. I hope he's pressing charges.

This is the epitome of the "not my kid" attitude that is SO prevalent these days. It's sickening and a pretty clear reason why those pieces of shit kids did what they did to Holloway's house. Obviously, the apples don't fall far from the tree.
I hope he presses charges for all they've got!

I'm not sure if he is pressing charges or not. But he invited the kids who trashed his house and their parents to come help clean up and make amends. He said only 1 parent showed up. Based on that, I would press charges. He seems like a much better person than me though.

IMO, the parents' behavior is even worse than that of the teenagers, and explains their warped sense of entitlement and lack of accountability. On Brian Holloway's site helpmesave300.com, there's a tweet from one of the kids saying, "so glad my parents don't give a f*ck what I do." That says it all right there.
