UPDATE: BFP - Sonogram Wait is Killing Me!
UPDATE!
Had my sonogram today and the baby is measuring 6 weeks and 2 days (baby = 6 weeks, gestational sac = 6.4 weeks) - according to my ER and ET, I should be 6 weeks so so far everything looks good. The tech was able to see the heart flicker, which was very exciting, but she said at this point it is hard to get an actual reading.
Ahhhh - I think my DH and I are still in shock.

So, last week, we got our BFP after 37 cycles and 3 IVF cycles. We are so happy, but I am SO nervous. Our sonogram is not until 9/5 and it seems like such a LONG wait. It was suppose to be Friday 8/30, but we will be away for the holiday weekend and then the following week is the first week of school. I can not miss the first day of school!
What did you ladies do to keep yourself sane during the wait? I think this is worse than the 2WW. I know it is out of my hands now, but it still makes me nervous. I hope this is normal.

can you maybe test your beta again quickly before you leave?
Its very hard
we are 9 weeks preg, and have to wait another 3 to see my sono again

i was a wreck the whole time..i have no advice lol bc every thought ran through my head from the very best and very worst
one day at a time take it!

Thanks ladies! I am just going to try to remain relaxed - easier said than done. I have literally just been sitting at home for the last few days since I do not start work until next week and my DH has been away on business. He gets home tonight and then we are traveling to visit my in-laws so hopefully that will keep me occupied and then once school starts I will have no time to think about it!

I'm so sorry you have to wait so long - I know how difficult it is! For the past couple of weeks I've had a sono once a week and I literally worry from the second I leave the doctor's office (even though I had a sono 5 min before!) until the next visit. I have a feeling the worry will never stop. That said, just being PG for us IF girls is a HUGE step so I try, every now and again, to smile and enjoy it.

No advice other than try to not think about it. The anxiety for me is at an all time high even with constant monitoring.

I wish I could give you advice. I am finally going tomorrow and it has been 4 long weeks since my last sono. Try to stay busy. You said you are going away so that should help keep you occupied. Good luck!!
