If you had it - did DH also have it? I was reading online that the best results come from an analysis of both the mother and father - but my OB didn't mention sending DH. TIA!

I had it done. If I test positive for anything then we will have DH tested. I already had 11 or the 18 tests done previously and I was not a carrier. It was more cost effective to have the counsyl panel done than to run the tests that my GYN overlooked.

Yes, I was tested first. When I came back as a carrier for 2 diseases, my DH was tested. If I wasn't a carrier of any he would not have been tested.

we were tested at the same time. they give results over the phone.

I was tested first. I was a carrier for a female only gene so they didn't bother testing him.
