How much milk/liquid for 19 mo?

How much liquid does your 19 month old drink on a daily basis? How much of it is milk? Is everyone on sippy cups exclusively?

Went to a new pediatrician today and was shocked at the disparity between what she said and what the old dr said 3 months ago!

How much milk/liquid for 19 mo?

I have a 20 month old and was told by the pediatrician that she should have 16-24 ounces of dairy a day. This is not only milk it also includes cheese, yoghurt etc. my lo has two sippy cups a day 6 ounces in each but she gets close to 24 with all the other foods she is eating. I offer water all day and she will drink several cups of water a day. I hope this helps.

My DD is 20 months and she drinks on avg three 6 oz bottles (give or take depending on the day) She is still on the bottle just like her two older siblings - they were off bottles by 2nd bday and will prob do the same with her.

and she drinks sippy cups of water all throughout the day and with meals (don't even know how to begin to count bec it is always on a table for her to grab and I am often refilling it so I dont really keep track!)

ETA: what did they say! My ped never said anything - but was never strict with amts!

I felt like a bad mom when she said that they should be totally off the bottle now AND only taking 6 oz of milk per day (if they eat yogurt or cheese or any other dairy). My guys drink about 18 oz of milk + water throughout day. They drink from sippy cups, but not exclusively... oh well! Thanks for making me feel better :)
